Feedback on September's Newsletter Following our article on GSM and GPRS in our September Newsletter, MCM received feedback from another manufacturer of GSM products based in Melbourne. This company took offence to MCMs article about GSM/GPRS problems. The company claimed to have quite different performance results on their product compared to the information MCM had gathered. MCM offered to review and amend its reporting if their test results proved different from the results that MCM had found. But unfortunately, the offer has not been taken up, so I assume that either …. They have excellent performance data that cannot be disputed but don’t want to share it with anyone …or They have no meaningful data … or They have not carried out the tests …or They are now busy at work carrying out the tests ….or All is not as is portrayed… Telstra's Expanded Securitel NetworkInterest still running "HOT"
As mentioned last Newsletter, Telstra has completed the expansion to the Securitel network and reviewed its pricing.
It is worthwhile noting….The connection fee for new Securitel customers connected between 1st of July 2004 and 30th June 2005 has been waived i.e. Nil.
Rental discounts on STUs connected to the new scanners in regional areas also apply. Click here to find out more…
We at MCM have noticed a sharp increase in the sales of our Securitel Communications Receiver (SCS) and an increase in the level of enquiries about our SCS from newer central stations.
ADSL Installer's guideMCM is the major supplier of ADSL filters to the security industry.
