Port Tester MCM has released a new tool to help test the settings of firewalls. Click on the picture to download a copy of the Port Tester.
This Port Tester is a useful tool that can test access through various ports that checks the Firewall settings. This will determine whether your TCD will get through the Firewall without any issues. This file can be sent to an IT engineer for them to test the firewall setup. This will save the installer attending the site and finding an issue.

Over the last few months, Emizon has increased its market share and has shown to be ultra reliable where other systems are left behind. Ask yourself these questions...
The Emizon Solution is Secure, Reliable and Cost Effective ....... The interface device is called a TCD and looks like this Securitel Closure At December 31st there were almost 3000 STUs still connected to Securitel network. Bad planning by some companies has caused their customers to be left without monitoring. I have also had numerous reports of customers that did not heed the numerous warning letters from their installers and now are without monitoring and feverishly trying to get back online.
PSTN call failures in Newcastle Region We have had numerous reports of dialers failing to report. Many in the Newcastle region. On investigation, many of these customers have converted to another PSTN carrier. This is a VOIP problem. As mentioned in previous newsletters, this problem is similar to ADSL interference. It may work sometimes or not at all. There is no easy test ... I am investigating a tester to detect this potential problem but although it may pass the test one day, the next day may be different due to network changes. This is why this is going to be an ongoing issue any why I state that PSTN will not be there in the future... hence why we have been so active promoting our IP and GPRS solution.
